Mr Big Zipper
A son of the legendary Zippo Pine Bar, he was purchased as a 2 year old by Santa Barbara Ranch to be Jody Galyean's 2 year old Congress entry. However, a sore stifle kept Mr Big Zipper from being at his best and he was shown by Todd Sommers to 8th place.
Due to difficulties at Santa Barbara Ranch, Mr Big Zipper spent 8 years at an Appaloosa Ranch and had only 12 foals, with great success. To date, his appaloosa foals have over 1200 points, 5 World Championships and 1 Reserve World Champion.
Mr Big Zipper came home to Hatch's Quarter Horses in 1998, when he began his start in the quarter horse world. "Z" stands at home in Superior, Nebraska where we give Mare Owners an honest deal and great babies.

"Z" sires foals that are great minded, with flat knees and great hocks. Just like their dad, they have a big pretty eye that will turn your head.
With his Performance ROM, earnings of over $10,000 and a Grand Champion at Halter 3 times, Mr Big Zipper has earned 24 open western pleasure points, placing 8th at the Congress in 2-Year-Old Western Pleasure; fifth in the NSBA Stallion Owners Futurity. Winner also of the Junior Western Pleasure at the San Antonio and Fort Worth Stock Shows. He was also a finalist in the Grand Twenty Western Pleasure Futurity.
